A nakali leg is a commonly used term in South Asia for an artificial or prosthetic leg used by individuals who have lost a limb due to injury, illness, or birth defects. It is designed to replace the function and appearance of a natural leg, allowing the user to walk and perform daily activities.

The prosthesis typically includes a socket (fitted over the residual limb), a pylon (support structure), and a prosthetic foot. In cases of above-knee amputation, a mechanical knee joint may also be included.
