An Orfit-moulded forearm fracture brace is a custom-made splint designed to support and stabilize forearm fractures. Made from thermoplastic material (Orfit), it becomes pliable when heated and can be molded directly to the patient’s arm for a precise fit. It provides rigid support while allowing some functional movement, promoting healing and comfort. Lightweight, breathable, and easy to clean, it is often used as an alternative to traditional plaster casts. The brace can be adjusted as swelling reduces and is commonly used in both acute and post-operative fracture management.
